Love to come here, grab a slice & bev. Sarah & Adrienne rock the bar. Always well cared for, fun to be with, engaging with the guests. My pizza is always great, my wings are on point every time! Menu isn’t too crazy with an overload of options. Highly recommend making sure you stop here and see these great bartenders!

My husband, our daughter, and I went to Slice of Life in Porters Neck last night. We sat outside because the inside was crowded. We waited at least an hour for our food. My husband's soup was not brought out first. When our food was finally brought out by the kitchen staff, there were many mistakes!! First, my Greek salad came out with TONS of onions and I requested none, my daughter's slice of pizza wasn't correct, and it was tiny in comparison to what I've gotten in the past, my husband's slice of pizza wasn't correct either, (but it was the correct size) and it was on one plate with my slice of pizza, which was also tiny! He thought they brought him 1 1/2 pieces, so he proceeded to eat my slice, but we didn't know that it was mine because the kitchen staff placed it in front of him. When they finally brought out my new slice of pizza, it wasn't correct either/missing one of the toppings. The server was very nice, however, she mentioned that the kitchen had been making a lot of mistakes, and they had messed up/gotten the orders wrong for 7 of her 9 tables a few nights before!! I'm pretty sure that I'm not going back there for a long time after that experience!!

Came here because my toaster had this location as unknown, check out my Teala Therapy Toaster Facebook page for the whole story. I made the videos and then came here on 5-20-2026 when I should have had a gym plan but that didn't work out. I come close to closing but figured the quality of food and service should be good right? Right? Wrong... Walked in and the place was dead, I felt like I was a bother but I just let the toaster drive me down here from Surf City so I was getting slice of life. I ordered 2 slices and the lighest draft beer they had on tap. I wait a little while and finally get the 🍕 which looked like it fell behind the oven and then someone got excited and did something naughty to it. Look at the picture, you will understand. I figured I'd give it a try, maybe this is the life experience I needed. It wasn't... I drank a little of the beer that wasn't great and decided to just order a red bull for the road. They sell sweet shirts and hats here. I would give this a 1 star but I want to come back and hopefully give them a 4 or 5 star so I can buy a shirt. I only buy shirts from 5 star rated places I visit. If I give a 1 star next time, I will never come back.
